The importation and distribution of high value / high quality furniture in Ireland is a complex business that requires specialized handling and transportation. The volume and range of designer tables, chairs, and sofas being imported have increased dramatically in recent years. Irish consumers have become more discerning in their taste and furniture from the fashion houses of Milan and Frankfurt are more likely to be seen in the ever increasing chic apartment blocks throughout Ireland.

In E F L we recognized a requirement to provide a safe and secure environment for the correct handling and transportation of furniture originating in mainland Europe and set up a dedicated furniture transport service from Italy to cater for the Italian market.

E F L and CD transport of Como created a weekly service for pickup of furniture from the various suppliers of quality pieces throughout Italy and bring to the CD depot in 'furniture only' transport vehicles for consolidation. Each week we consolidate the furniture from all the various manufacturers and carefully load into dedicated vehicles for the long transport to Ireland. This is where 'experience does count ' and a jigsaw is completed with each piece interlocking with the next to assure the highest safety standard in transit. CD opened their Udine office and warehouse in 2005 and EFL are also providing direct services to Ireland from the Udine region.

In Dublin our experienced staff carefully unload each piece and verify its' integrity before completing a similar exercise in making delivery to the ultimate receivers. Great care is taken to make certain that each item receives the maximum attention to assure that the client receives each piece in perfect condition.
